RDA awards Rawalpindi Ring Road to FWO
Rawalpindi Ring Road is a massive project that has gathered a lot of hype and many housing projects are also depending upon its construction in order to make the societies easily accessible.
In recent news, released on 17th March, 22, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has announced to award Rawalpindi Ring Road project to none other than Frontier Work Organization (FWO). According to the sources, initially there were two companies in the race to get Rawalpindi Ring Road, the other company being NLC. However, NLC failed to apply in the due time.
According to the news, RDA Chairman mentioned that FWO was the lowest bidding firm that came forward with RS. 300 million less than the estimated budget for the project after all the technical and financial bids were opened by the concerned authorities.
With the project being signed with FWO, the site work for Rawalpindi Ring Road is expected to begin shortly.
